Les insectes agricoles d’époque

Fresh from appearances, no doubt (however fleeting), in movies such as Gold-Diggers of 1921, these flapper-era insects still manage to have names more redolent of dramas by Corneille or Racine: Acherontia, Phyllodecte, Doryphore, Forficule, etc.
